Do people’s faces tell a story of their lives? Is 60 the new 40? What does it mean to age in a time where no one really wants too?

Platinum was an exhibition and catalogue curated by Suzanne Boccalatte for Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care, in celebration of 50 years of Seniors Week. We commissioned artist Petrina Hicks and published her photos in a hard cover, limited edition publication containing 16 photographs, with a preface by Dr Meredith Jones commenting on prevailing notions of youth and old age.

The invite and the limited edition book was featured in 2008 AGDA Awards.
